NEW UPDATE TO SERVING ALCOHOL
A new directive from Governor Andrew Cuomo, which takes effect immediately, mandates that only patrons who are ordering and eating food can be served alcoholic beverages. No walk-up bar service will be permitted. To be served, a patron must be seated in a designated area.
Any potential violations of the new mandate can be reported to the State Liquor Authority at sla.ny.gov. From their website:
Pursuant to Executive Order 202.52, effective Friday July 17, 2020, all licensed establishments with on premises privileges (e.g. restaurants, taverns, manufacturers with tasting rooms, etc.) shall not serve alcoholic beverages unless such alcoholic beverage is accompanied by the purchase of a food item which is consistent with the food availability requirement of the license under the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law.
For alcohol beverages to be consumed, Revolution Gallery has two menus to select from – a full café menu, and a mini menu to view on this page) – both are compliant with NYS’s requirement to serve food with alcohol purchases.
We thank you for your support and continued patronage.
