CURRENT / LATEST UPDATE

A GUIDE FOR OUR GUESTS

UPDATE AS OF FEBRUARY 10th, 2022 – NYS Governor Kathy Hochul has lifted the mask mandate in the state, and it has also been lifted in Erie County.

We will no longer be asking guests to the gallery for their proof of full vaccination, unless there is a need that arises again to do so (we are hoping and optimistic that the Omicron cases continue to decline).

Our staff at the Gallery and Lounge are fully vaccinated (and boosted!), we believe in the science, encourage that everyone get vaccinated, and are supportive of our guests who wish to continue to wear masks.

Revolution Gallery and Lounge is a dream project that we have invested so much of ourselves, and it’s a space we are overjoyed to share with each person who has walked through our doors. Our hope is that everyone understands the hardships small businesses / venues faced over the last year and a half. The struggle to stay open continued with limited capacity and restrictions to events and hours of operation, and loss of staff. We deeply appreciated and valued the community support then, and we are hoping for it now. It is imperative we take these temporary measures to keep our Gallery and Lounge open, and to keep our staff, guests, artist performers, and community safe. We truly thank each of you for everything.

PREVIOUS REOPENING UPDATES and THANK YOU!

As of August 2021, the number of Delta variant cases is rapidly spiking in our county; we are now in a “high risk” mode because of this.

Please note – temporarily – everyone entering Revolution Gallery must be vaccinated, and present proof of vaccination either with a card and ID, or Excelsior Pass on their phone. Vaccinated guests have the option to wear a mask, depending on each guest / performer’s personal comfort levels.

THANK YOU!!

To begin, Revolution Gallery is grateful for all of you, and we thank you! Thank you for supporting the gallery and our artists by continuing to add to your art collection, for your attendance and generous donations during our Retro Rewind online event, and for your purchases of our new curbside pickup orders. We have missed our patrons / customers / regulars / visitors, and are excited to see every one of you again.

WORKING TOGETHER FOR ALL OF US

We value and are committed to our community. While at Revolution Gallery, your wellness and safety is paramount. There are new, necessary and essential items we have put in place to to comply with the local and national requirements. These need to be followed to minimize risk, and keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Active participation from you is necessary for your protection, and that of our staff and fellow visitors. Please read the reopening requirements and policies.

GALLERY RE-OPENING, ART, and SOCIAL DISTANCING

On Thursday, July 16th, Revolution Gallery welcomed the public inside the gallery to view artwork for the first time since early March. Our hours will fluctuate during this time of readjustment; we are now open on Wednesdays and Thursdays – 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and Friday and Saturday noon to 6:00pm, unless there is an event which ends at 11:00pm. The café opening for seating 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Please note that our hours may change due to new Covid guidelines, and due events, private appointments, or private events. Check our hours on our HERE to stay updated on when we are opened.  To maintain social distancing, and for the safety of our guests / patrons / staff, we will be limiting the amount of people who may enter the gallery at once. Please refer to our gallery hours every Monday for each upcoming week.

TO ENTER THE GALLERY YOU MUST BE PROPERLY WEARING A MASK, OR YOU WILL POLITELY BE DENIED ACCESS. This means that everyone needs to be masked. If you do not have a mask, you are welcome to purchase a “one-time-use” mask from the gallery. Our staff will continually clean and disinfect doorhandles and surfaces, the restroom, and monitoring all activity so we maintain compliance with NYS and Erie County’s safety protocols. We appreciate the cooperation of all, and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back.

Revolution Gallery’s current exhibit –“THE YEAR THE EARTH STOOD STILL” – is installed in the gallery, and we encourage social distancing when viewing the artwork. All attendees will be greeted at the door with a temperature check, and a recommendation to use hand sanitizer by one of our staff members. A limit of 20 people are allowed in the gallery at any given point. All guests must be masked as they move about the gallery space.
