KRAMPUSNACHT
Saturday, December 3rd | 5:00pm to late | $5. cover at the door at Revolution Gallery
Presented by Revolution Gallery / The Lounge at Revolution Gallery, Anthony Brown and Cyd Cox, and The Merry Shelley
Welcome to our annual event and celebrate / take part in KRAMPUSNACHT – An evening of when Krampus – the horned helper to Saint Nicholas – comes to visit…
THE PROCESSION
The celebration begins at The Merry Shelley – our fantastic neighbors up the street. Meet there in your Krampus finest at 5:00pm, enjoy drinks and specials (especially their selections of absinthe!) in their dark and beautiful space.
The Krampus Procession leaves from there at 6:30pm – lead by Saint Nicholas – and we all head down the street to Revolution Gallery, complete with switches, bells, and horns.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE – This procession is open to all ages, so dress in your scariest, Krampus best, if you wish! However, you must be 21+ with a valid id to enter The Merry Shelley bar and patio, as well as at Revolution Gallery. Also, there is a $5. cover at the door at Revolution Gallery only.
COSTUME CONTEST – the best Krampus costume will receive $100.! Judging to take place in the procession!
THE ART
Two art exhibits – “locks” a solo show of new artwork by Tricia Butski, and Dark Celebration, a group exhibit from the gallery collection. Also, it’s the return of a new Krampus art installation in the windows of the gallery (designed by artist Sarah Hemingway).
THE MUSIC
THE MUSIC
DJ Dr Wisz will be spinning his vinyl selections of alt / goth / punk / new wave – dance among the art!
We are so excited about celebrating Krampusnacht with you!
