GALLERY ASSISTANT
Are you enthusiastic? Love talking about art that is odd, dark, and compelling? Want to work in a gallery that exhibits work by national and international pop-surrealist / figurative / contemporary artists?
Revolution Gallery is hiring for the PART-TIME position of gallery assistant. This individual will assist the gallery director and curator to work closely with artists, collectors, and the public, on multiple matters of business within the gallery.
This individual must:
- Be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud ( InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat), Microsoft, and Google Docs
- Savvy in social media platforms – IG, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
- Strong with their organizational and customer service skills
- Accomplished at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Capable at working independently and with a team
- Confident in discussing art and / or have an art background. A BFA in Fine Art or Graphic Design preferred
To maintain compliancy with NYSLA this candidate will need to be 21+ years old due to the wine bar Revolution Gallery has on premise.
To ensure safety to staff and guests, candidate must be vaccinated and provide their Excelsior Pass or vaccination card with proper ID.

EVENT STAFF / SERVER
Are you enthusiastic, creative, work well with others, and excited to be surrounded by pop-surrealist artwork…?
Revolution Gallery is hiring for the PART-TIME position of event staff and server. Two shifts, with potential to grow into more. This individual will work setting up the lounge / gallery space, and behind the wine bar during events.
This individual must:
- Be able to assist and / or supervise in setting up for events (PA equipment, tables, chairs, etc.)
- Work well with the public, with others, and take direction well
- Efficient in breaking down gallery / lounge after event, to prep it for service the following day
- Motivated, outgoing, and confident at multi-tasking
- Work events on Friday and Saturday nights, and an occasional week night event
- Bar service experience preferable, but will train
