Django Nokes is an Italo-English artist creating fine art prints using a typographic printing process and illustration as well as mixed media. Thanks to the study of graphic art and illustration at university in Florence, Nokes cultivated his idea of combining a passion for dreamlike and grotesque imagery throughout various eras, giving rise to evocative and disturbing works. He has participated in group exhibitions in the United States and Italy.

Nokes uses various techniques, from drawing and retouching old postcards to collage, experimenting with techniques without dwelling on one style. On the artist’s origins, he has stated, “I’ve always had a penchant for the unknown and anything related to the world of dreams. In addition, I am fortunate to be surrounded by people with a strong artistic sense who have pushed me to create something using my old passions, to which I have combined into a personal aesthetic.”
