LIMINAL – a solo exhibit by Ana Luna
Opening • Friday, June 10th | 7:00pm to 11:00pm
Revolution Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of original artwork by Mexican artist Ana Luna.
Her paintings are oddly haunting and disturbingly beautiful. Private moments in an isolated environment. Ghosts either literal or metaphorical, seen or unseen, but always felt.
Ana Luna is a multidisciplinary artist who has created art for album covers and children’s books, focusing most recently in digital drawing and acrylic painting. Born in 1989 in Guanajuato, México, she started her creative path in the area of graphic design before deciding to switch full time to pursue a degree in fine arts in the University of Guanajuato.
Her work often portrays themes such as death, magic and fate, mixing colorful backgrounds and bleak themes into surreal landscapes.
Opening starts at 7:00pm (music by Monkey Wrench and The Travesties – 21+ after 8:00pm)
Exhibit runs till July 23rd
