FULL MOON Part Two

11 Days Until Halloween!

FULL MOON TONIGHT! TIME TO MAKE MOON WATER!

Today is October 20th, and tonight, expect a full moon with an illumination of 100%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun.

And it is the perfect time to create Moon Water.

What is Moon Water? Simply put, it is water charged by the Moon – in this case, a Full Moon.

We have an energetic connection to water, and the Moon. We are made of 60%+ water, so it is not a surprise that we are affected by the different lunar phases and gravitational pull of the moon.

In today’s Halloween Countdown Box, there is a test tube of food-grade lavender flowers. Lavender has calming properties that promote relaxation. These lavender flowers are used to make tea or lemonade, ground to a powder to put in baked goods, as dry rubs and marinades, or infused into whipped cream.

To make the Moon Water –

Take a clean, mason jar that is large enough to hold 3 cups of water. Please make sure both the jar and the water are safe for human consumption, if you do plan on drinking the Moon Water.

Add the contents of the lavender test tube to the mason jar.

Cover with 3 cups of drinking water. You can boil the water first, let it cool slightly and add to the mason jar if you want your Moon Water to be more of a tea.

Put a label on the mason jar (or write directly on the top of the lid with a sharpie) – FULL MOON IN ARIES, October 20, 2021

This zodiac sign encourages us to slow down, and move at a more comfortable, less frantic pace.

Bring the mason jar outside where it will be in the light of the Moon. Make sure it is someplace safe where it may not be tampered with – on a windowsill outside, a balcony, etc.

Have an intention to focus on (love, peace, acceptance, healing, etc).

Place your small Moon charm from Day 19 of the Halloween Countdown Calendar Box in the palm of your hand, and hold both hands (palms up) over the mason jar.

Meditate and focus on the intention you have chosen, and thank the universe when you are through. When you repeat your intention one last time, clasp the small Moon charm and hold close to your heart.

Leave the mason jar overnight to be charged by the Moon. Even if it is an overcast night, the water will be charged by morning.

Here are several ways to use your Moon Water –

Water plants in your home

Drink it as a tea or as water (strain the lavender flowers first)

Place in a spray bottle and spritz around your home – especially areas you meditate; at your altar, where you keep your crystal collections, etc.

Use to rinse your face after you have cleansed

Add some of the Moon Water to your cleaning supplies so you may give your space a deep cleaning with the lavender

Add the entire jar to a bathtub full of water to give your bath lunar energy

Use to clean your crystals – but make sure that your crystal does well in water; some crystals are ruined if you submerge them.

However you choose to use your Moon Water, it all lies with the intention you focused on and sent to the universe.

If you’d like, post to IG how you plan to use your Moon Water, and tag the gallery so we may see how you used the energy of the Full Moon.

Enjoy your Full Moon Ceremony.
