Life is a circus.

We understand ourselves by how we are entertained. Our external stimuli can always be interpreted as a sideshow act, our thoughts as ballyhoo, constantly seeking an angle at how to survive and navigate this reality, and ultimately, how to win at it. We are bombarded by perpetually moving targets, shifting paradigms and funhouse mirrors that distort and deceive. It’s up to us to keep adjusting our perception in order to find purpose in this constantly shifting reality. It’s up to us to find the humor and the lesson scattered amid the mayhem and to keep learning how to be taught.

To keep honing our skills of adaptation and ultimately to be entertained by it all. Ticket to the Midway explores our visceral reactions to the world around us. Are you shocked and amazed? Are you excited and intrigued, or are you terrified? No matter the case, we’re all along for the ride — Magwire
